So Dominik eats ravioli, but I rinse the tomato sauce off first. My mom says its cheating. I say its smart. What do you think?

I'm 11 months today!
Can't believe how fast 11 months has gone! We had an eventful day planned, but only got around to half. We are in Yuma right now and they had a Veteran's Day Parade, so I thought that would be fun. It was supposed to start at 8:45 am, but didn't get going until 9:15 am. I was getting worried as that is close to nap time. We saw lots of army equipment, Marines, Shriners, Bands, Girl and Boy Scout Troops, and other random groups that made floats. We stayed until 10:15 am, as Dominik couldn't make it any longer. I'm not sure how much more parade there was, but it seemed pretty rocking still as we got to the car. Oh and there was WIND. Today was super windy, so there was plenty of dirt flying through the air, getting us all gritty. Which leads us to why we cancelled our afternoon 11 month photo shoot in the park. Hopefully tomorrow is less windy!
Some of Dominik's current activities: opening and climbing INTO cupboards, walking everywhere, eating all finger foods at meals, nap time/bedtime without the pacifier, making noises with his tongue, getting one tooth on top (we have a total of 3 now!), playing/initiating the game of peekaboo, and running away from diaper changes.

Top 10 Tuesday
So I say this every time, but I'm honestly going to try and get better at doing the Top 10. Haha yeah right.
For today's reading pleasure, My Top 10 OPI nail polish colors. I am slightly obsessed and can't ever pass up the buy 2 get 1 free sale at Ulta. It makes me sick knowing how much I've spent on nail polish (I have atleast 10 more, not listed). And at $7 a bottle, I have a couple weeks worth of groceries! Without further adieu, here they are (from left to right in the picture):
1. Ate Berries in the Canaries
2. Jade is the New Black
3. Lincoln Park at Midnight
4. Dress to Empress
5. D.C. Cherry Blossom
6. Jewel of India
7. Purple with a Purpose
8. Midnight in Moscow
9. Tropical Punch
10. Peru-b-ruby

Pumpkin Patch
On Saturday we ventured out to the pumpkin patch. Needless to say, a pumpkin patch in Arizona is completely different from Nebraska.
We arrived at Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale at approximately 12:45 pm. Well, we drove by it at 12:45 pm. We had to try and find a parking spot first. The place was jammed! Cars were parked on the street for miles, and they had a medium sized parking lot that was just a cluster to get into. Did I mention this place is in a neighborhood? We resorted to the parking lot, as we didn't want to park on the busy street. We did find a fairly sweet parking spot, after some idiot mom finally got the automatic hatch to close on the back of her Escalade. So we walk up to the entrance-HUGE line that is NOT moving. Fabulous. We finally got in, $12 later (with a coupon). Made our way to see some animals-roosters, horses, ostrich, etc. Kind of boring. We got our picture taken on some hay bales (how festive, huh?). Then we decided to try the corn maze. There were two. One was called a 'Family' maze and the other a 'Mini' maze. Logically we head over to the Family maze, since we are a family. The lady at the entrance says it takes 45 minutes. I wasn't sure how long Dom would last, so I asked how long the Mini maze was. 10 minutes. Sweet, just my style. Well the Mini maze, wasn't much of a maze, but just a path cut through a corn field. Oh well. Next, we were off to the "pumpkin patch". You know, the place where pumpkins are placed in the grass, pre-marked with prices? We didn't grab a pumpkin, but I got some cute pics. Check out Facebook for more. We then walked over to the kids play area. Dom walked too. He was wearing his Husker Squeaks shoes, we got so many comments on them, and people wanted to know where we got them! After that we headed back to the car, making sure to avoid the "gift shop" area jammed with people paying for pumpkins. The line to get in when we left was nearly three times the size of the line we waited in. Boy was I glad we got there when we did!
We had fun, and it was a memory, but it's just not like the pumpkin patch in Nebraska.
